The southeast of Vvardenfell

"The southeast of Vvardenfell" caught my eye while browsing, the round shape of the gate was standing out, surrounded by colors promising a wonderful palette. I was not deceived a second as I full viewed the whole picture, staring for a moment, simply amazed and pleased.
The colors feature mostly shades of blue contrasting with the sandy brown and orange shades of the foreground. The style is absolutely splendid and makes a great use of quality contrast to allow detailed elements such as the smoking mudcrab to stand out in the middle of barely sketched plants.

The composition is nicely balanced with a great work in the placement of elements and masses, and lighting as well. The gate and its view on the sea are really an invitation to enter the picture, sell some costly Daedric armor to the rich mudcrab and swim to the Telvanni city in total defiance of dreughs and slaughterfish.

This narrative illustration is about perfect and is a wonderful tribute to Morrowind and really the kind that keep this world living beyond the game. Feeds your nostalgia... <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
